Privacy

What we collect

Account email and display name. You sign in with email, or with the Command Center sign-in you already have. This site does not offer Google or X. The books you write — scenes, characters, outlines, research, inbox notes — are stored with your account. Usage meter events for Assistant calls record tokens and cost, not the manuscript.

What we do not do

We do not sell your manuscript. We do not train public models on your draft. We do not run ads against your account. We do not require a Dropbox folder.

Where it lives

Books are stored in the project database (Postgres). Sign-in uses Better Auth. Assistant calls go to xAI only when you ask. A local fallback database is used in preview environments.

Your controls

You can export Markdown, HTML, text, Word, EPUB, or PDF at any time. You can delete your books and your account data from Account. You can pause the usage meter.

Children

Quill SI is a writing studio. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
